Ice silk has a luxurious feel and is less stiff and reflective than regular satin. This means it photographs beautifully and creases less (requiring less, or no steaming), making it perfect for skirts and backdrops. The ice silk adds body to the skirt, and being opaque prevents the table being seen through the tulle.
